It was easy to find the trail the creature had taken, the stench of death and fear mixed closely together, hanging onto every leaf that had been disturbed. The stench alone didn't tell him what it was that had captured the children, only that it was similar to him in kind. And hungry. The night slowly gave way for the first rays of light through the trees, a heavy fog trailing through the forest. It was there, deep within the foliage that Zarok found a little toy lying on the ground. Not far away from an old, decrepit hut. Something ominous was going on there, the stench of rotten flesh and death making it difficult to draw in air properly. But to Zarok's relief faint crying reached his ears. Perhaps he wasn't too late. ------------------------ Part two!! We find ourselves deep in Zarok's forest but not everything is alright. God I'm having such a blast with this story I HAD to work on part two haha. It's one of my darker pieces but I love it. This might be one of the best forest scenes I've ever done! Go go Zarok! Ich freue mich sehr, dass die Geschichte weitergeht! Mit dem schwarzen Rauch, der aus der Hütte kommt, wirkt die Szene tatsächlich recht gruselig und düster. Ich bin sehr gespannt, wie es weitergehen wird!
